Walterella Sago McNear is a retired United States Army veteran, whose passion is serving and inspiring others. She also has a no-nonsense attitude regarding self-care and maintaining good health. She began her military career in the field of Personnel Administration and dedicated a little over twenty years of her life honorably serving her country. Born in Gary, Indiana, and raised by her grandparents; Walterella developed a strong spiritual background instilled in her as a young child.
She whole-heartedly believes in the power of prayer, the power of confession, and the power of powerful positive affirmations. She also believes that nothing is impossible to them that believe. Her powerful positive self-talk tells her that she can create the abundant life that she desires.
Walterella’s character is predicated on love and obedience to God, her love and respect for self and others. Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:6 “Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” Walterella is a graduate of Spirit of Faith Bible Institute (2008-2011) where she earned a Diploma of Ministerial Studies.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and has earned a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She is currently studying to complete her 2nd master’s degree, which is a Master of Science in Human Resource Management, with a concentration as a Human Resource Generalist at Strayer University. In April 2019, The Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement inducted her as a member.
ALPHA SIGMA LAMBDA, the premier honor society for adult students in higher education, has inducted Walterella into IOTA ETA Chapter, Woodbridge Campus, VA as a lifetime member.
She also is a member of Divas United, a national organization with 500 plus members under the leadership of the Grand Diva, Joann Tolbert-Yancy, founder, author, and a compelling speaker. Divas United is an organization that supports the efforts of women to achieve professional, educational, career, cultural, and economic development necessary to manage their careers and personal lives to control their destinies.
Walterella is passionate about inspiring and encouraging others in areas of self-care and financial freedom. Her motto is, “Be Better, Do Better, Live Better to Give Better."
She enjoys traveling, reading, and getting as much physical exercise as her schedule allows. Spending quality time with family is a top priority. She is a partner at Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Brandywine, Maryland under the leadership of Apostle Michael A. and Dr. DeeDee Freeman.
